R&K Garage make prize donations in support of Alzheimers Fundraiser Night. The event at Launays Restaurant Edwinstowe raised £340 towards the cause which now brings the total raised so far to £991. Nick Shaw (pictured right) of R&K Garage has taken up the challenges of The Great Yorkshire & The Great North Run in September for Alzheimer’s Society. Nick hopes to raise over £2000 through sponsorship. John Coxhead – Community Volunteer (pictured left) who supported the event said “ There is a growing number of events that now take place highlighting awareness of Alzhiemers. This event together with the sponsored runs that Nick is taking part in indicates what lengths people will go to help the cause.
